Hudson Crop and Livestock can now use Technology Assisted Loss Verification (TALV) to help speed up the prevent plant claim process. TALV lets us use satellite imagery and other remote sensed data instead of an in-person field inspection when the situation is a good fit. It’s a simple, accurate and efficient way we can verify acres to reduce the time from loss to claim payment.
TALV is designed to support, not replace, our field staff full of CAPP certified adjusters. We may still choose to conduct an in-person inspection if needed,and high dollar claims remain part of regular quality control reviews. Each
TALV inspection includes required documentation such as imagery, metadata, PRISM reports, field boundary maps and a short narrative tying everything together.
